I hope you had a very nice Labor Day week-end. Mr. Inky and I did. On Friday afternoon, we helped a lady from our church move. She will be missed, but she needed to moved closer to her daughter. We stayed around the house. . .enjoyed the yard and fresh air. We played croquet, picked a few vegetables, enjoyed a fired, and did some things in the house.
Here is one card, I made, that I wanted to share. The stamp image is from AJ's Country Stampin' and is called "Gone Fishing" After coloring it, I framed it with a nestabilities cutout so it looks like a picture. I used a strip of glittery paper that I punched one side with a scalloped punch and then layered it on some water looking paper, layered on black and then applied to the card.
I hope you like it and maybe it will give you an idea of a card to make for someone. I am hoping to stamp a card or two that is Fall in nature, but the past few days have been back to summer weather! Hot and humid. . . The leaves are beginning to change and a few have dropped, so maybe I will get in the mood, for I really enjoy making fall cards. Fall is my favorite season!
Hugs and Prayers,
Hi Inky,
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely card. Love the background paper. It does look like water glistening from the sun rays.
Hi, Inky... As Norma said, you've made another lovely card. I agree, the bg paper does look like sunlight hitting the water...a very tranquil card!
